Making the lead-to-delivery chain visible.

Lead2Door is a managed workspace built and sold by Starthinc Labs LLC for direct-to-consumer and cash-on-delivery teams. It brings lead capture, confirmation, shipping, and financial operations into one working context. The engineering challenge is to keep each step and its owner understandable as information moves through the chain.

The context

The operating problem

An order can enter from an acquisition channel, require human confirmation, pass to shipping, and later need follow-up or financial review. Each handoff changes what an operator needs to know and what action is valid. External delivery services add another set of states and rules.

An order crosses several boundaries

Decisions that shape the work

How the work is structured

01

Treat status as a business decision

Lead and shipping states have defined transitions and a history of changes. Confirmation depends on the information needed for the next operational step, instead of being only a visual status change.

02

Keep ownership visible

Admin and confirmation-agent workflows have different permissions and responsibilities. The system records who changed an order and preserves the context needed to review that decision later.

03

Separate provider differences

Shipping integrations sit behind a shared adapter boundary. Provider-specific behavior can change without making the core order workflow depend on one carrier’s API.

The work

What the design has to balance

01

Speed and human judgment

Automation can move routine information while a confirmation agent still owns decisions that require context.

02

Shared flow, different carriers

A common order process must accommodate provider-specific shipping behavior.

03

Progress and history

The current status is useful, but the sequence of changes explains how a decision was reached.

What this shows

What this demonstrates

Lead2Door shows how Starthinc Labs connects software, workflow design, and integrations in an operation where the next action must be clear. The product website carries current product and commercial information.

Where this experience applies

The pattern is useful for any operation that moves from acquisition through human review to external fulfillment: keep ownership, state, and exceptions visible through each handoff.
